Plastic Surgery is Not Only for Divas

So much attention is focused every day on procedures obtained by starlets, supermodels, singers, and others, it’s understandable why many people – who might otherwise be interested in a plastic surgery – assume that it’s simply not for them. Payam Jarrah-Nejad, M.D., F.I.C.S., F.A.C.S., known more casually to his patients as Dr. J, would like the public to know that you don’t have to be rich or famous to benefit from plastic surgery.

Plastic surgery is for anyone, of either gender, who would like to improve their appearance or deal with some sort of perceived defect that may be harmful to an individual’s sense of self. For women, this might be breast reconstruction following a full or partial mastectomy, or breast reduction to deal with the very real physical issues caused by excessively large breasts. Oversized breasts can also be a difficult and embarrassing issue for men. Fortunately, as you can see on Dr. J’s gynecomastia before and after page, it’s a matter that can be addressed.

One issue that might understandably prevent people from investigating a plastic surgery for themselves is expense. Dr. J would like to point out that surgeries are often less expensive than people assume and that, in his experience, the issue of cost rarely determines whether or not someone – even a person of modest income – gets or does not get a procedure.

So, whether you’re a mother intrigued by mommy makeover procedures, such as those you can see on our page of breast lift (mastopexy) before and after photos, or a man or woman interested in surgeries ranging from rhinoplasty and facelifts to liposuction and more, there’s no reason not to investigate a procedure with Dr. J. He and his staff look forward to hearing from you.
